- You first need to download Superuser file which is available over here in zip format. You can download it on your computer first.
- Connect your YU Yureka device to PC and transfer that zip file you had downloaded to root folder of internal storage.
- Disconnect the USB connection once transfer is done and switch off your device then.
- Turn on device by pressing Power + Volume Up + Volume Down keys all together for few seconds unless you see starting your device into recovery mode.
- Once it’s started in that mode then select option labeled as install zip from SD card and then locate to the Superuser zip file you see there. You can use volume keys for navigation and power button for selection here.
- Once you find the file then press power button on that and it will start flashing from the very first moment. Once finished, your device will be restarted or you do it manually by following screen instructions over there.
This is all done now and once your phone restarts, it’s rooted. There are many benefits you’ll get of using a rooted smartphone.
